Same constant blinking problem, replaced both cartridges (though I don't believe that was the problem) and still no printing. Of course the standard "wax on wax off" has been done.Same constant blinking problem, replaced both cartridges (though I don't believe that was the problem) and still no printing. Sorry, I don't have one. Mine was a different problem; incompatibility between my old hp desk jet 5650 and my new Mac Book Pro. Just needed a newer printer!
When something like what you describe happens it is because the cartridge is dry; I change the cartridge.
the is a file missing in the program files menu in HP Desk-jet. Uninstall the driver and reinstall it back on your Computer and everything will be fine. you can download new driver updated at ......
power on your printer, after you see processing data the second time, press cancel. Everytime I have seen this error is because the user tries to print a PDF file that is corrupt. This has worked for me in the past.

well..assuming that the text is the same on all, this might be a settings issue, with the print spooler. That's in the set up of the printer, under properties..look into that, and perhaps you'll want to spool the whole job, instead of printing immediately?
print spooler memory is finite, so the longer jobs will take longer.
HP cartrdges are 'BubbleJet'
that is the jets arer part of the cartridge.
These can Block, especially in warm climates.
Take cartrisge out.
Moisten a tissue with water-with some alcahol in its if available
stand the cartridge in it with the jets in the damp tissue for 24 hours
Then re try
Come back if still in trouble
Right click on the printer icon Officejet 5600 series -- Select properties - Click on ports tab - Change the port to USB virtual port.
Disconnect the usb cable from the computer.
1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Type Services.msc 4. Locate print spooler on the list, right-click and choose stop. 5. Again right-click the print spooler and choose start.
Make sure you have full printer cartridges. If this does not work. Turn off the printer and unplug it. Then try to plug it back in and turn it on. This will probably make the problem go away.

printer starts to print then stops and error shows on printer problem
