My Nordictrack E7 SV elliptical is not powering on when plugged into the wall outlet. I tried putting batteries in and it still won't power on. Is there a fuse or something that may have blown?

I would start the troubleshooting process by confirming power at the wall outlet. If this checks out, follow power from the wall to the end of the cord. If you still have power at the end of the cord, check the power inlet. If you still have power on the back side of the power inlet, you may be looking at a bad control board. With regard to the clunking in the NordicTrack E7sv it turned out to be the left side wheel to crankshaft connection. It had come loose. I removed the left side foot rods and wheel cover plate for access. I re-seated the wheel on the shaft and tightened the hardware. Noise gone. So is all the squeaking associated with it loosening.

Seem like a classic speed sensor problem. Replace or adjust sensor.

Remove the battery from its compartment on the side of your Dell Inspiron laptop computer.

Remove the power adapter from its plug on the side of the Dell Inspiron (if your laptop is currently plugged into a wall outlet).

2) Test the power cord from some wire loose or broken!
3) See the fuse for continuity usethe DVOM or c.breaker tripped, reset.

If you are looking at right hand side of unit you have the flywheel next to it adjusting tension plate.If you have your manual handy it will show how to loosen this part so you may loop over the small idler pulley which goes around the much larger pulley wheel if not here is the web page to go to and its on page 21 Hope this nugget will help!
