My 2003 skidoo summit runs fine but hand warmers don't work and the tach and speedo work intermittent. Any ideas on what to do.

my 800 Summit does this also, it is my sign that I need to change my Plugs. and EVERY TIME, it works...

connection on the back of the dash needs cleaning if you push on the dash and it all works then this is the fault. sometimes hitting it works just fine for awhile but not to hard.

TACH, SPEEDO, RADIO ,LIGHTS AND SO ON ,,WATER /MOISTURE WAS FOUND IN THE TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH ( NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH )CONNECTOR ,,,THAT WAS CAUSING SOME MAJOR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ,I REPLACED THE SWITCH AND CONNECTOR AND THAT SOLVED IT , , I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL THE SYMPTOMS ARE FOR THAT PROBLEM BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT ,,,

Hi , the only resonable repair for this is to replace the instrument panel , which will also need to be en-coded to your vehicle so a second hand unit will not be able to be used, regards mark

there is light bulbs behind the instument cluster. You will have to remove the screws, than pry off your panel and change the bulb.

More then likely the tiny electric motor called the "stepper motor" is defective, a common failure.
