The coffee is not hot. I have PSTX series.

Does the bottom surface that the carafe sits on get hot. Too hot to touch? If not there may be a wiring problem. If it is a new machine, I would return it for another. Hope this helps.

The red light on my coffee pot is on and will not go off. I have run cleaner thru the regular cycle now what? Its a 12 cup programmable Mr. Coffee.

I know this sounds like a pain but it takes a while toget that silly light to stop. Decalcifying your MR. COFFEE® Coffeemaker Minerals(calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker andaffect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these depositsusing MR. COFFEE® Cleaner or vinegar. MR. COFFEE® Cleaner is available at manyretail stores or by calling the MR. COFFEE® Consumer Service Department at 1-800-MR COFFEE(1-800-672-6333). 1. Follow packageinstructions to prepare one batch of MR. COFFEE® Cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Before decalcifying, remove the water filtration disk from the machine. NOTE: 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white householdvinegar may be used as a substitute for the cleaner. 2. Place an emptyMR. COFFEE® 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or MR. COFFEE® permanent filter into the filter basketand slide the brew basket in place. 3. Place theempty decanter back in the unit. 4. Press theCLEAN button until the CLEAN indicator light turns on (Figure 9). For your convenience the cleaning cycle isautomatic. The entire cycle will take 45-60 minutes to complete. During thecleaning your coffeemaker will: a. Slow brewapprox. 3 cups of cleaning solution. b. Pause for 30minutes (the CLEAN light will remain on to alert you that the process is active). c. If you have problems call the 1-800 number below.
Decalcifying your MR. COFFEE® Coffeemaker Minerals (calcium/limestone) found

Our Mr. Coffee (model JWX27--it's less than 2 yrs old) stopped working out of the blue. The lights all seem to work, and the clock, but it doesn't start the brewing cycle. I've checked the timer/delay...

The heating element has gone bad. Since it is not a user-serviceable part, I recommend replacing the coffeemaker.

In the future, make sure you do not add water to the reservoir unless the coffeemaker has been turned of for at least five minutes. This will help prolong the life of the heating element.

The heating element will naturally degrade over time. But, it can incur sudden damage when the reservoir is refilled with water too soon - while the element is still hot. Because of the simple design, if the coffeemaker is on, then both the warming plate's heating element and the reservoir's heating element are on. So, after a brewing cycle is complete, the reservoir's heating element stays on. Without any in the reservoir to keep it cool, the heating element superheats. So, if water is put in the reservoir while the coffeemaker is on or before the element has adequately cooled, the sudden burst of steam from the water contacting the element can be quite violent.

cheaper to replace unit. Sounds like element failure.
