Hisense tv went black screen I can still here sound

U can unplug set awhile but may helpit temporarily. Tv is old n worn. Anew one is cheapr then fixn. Think wal*mart

Cheaper to replace than fix, trust me on this.

The LCD display is shorted. It should be under warranty.

Unfortunately there is very little an every day user can do to fix a problem like this on their own.

HelloCheck the backlight inverter board. If it has damged, most common fault to LCD TVs, there will be no backlight to the LCD screen, and will look black. Your tV has sound output without picture. This means that all other boards ar functioning well. Check the backlight inverter section and CCFL tubes used in backlight assembly. OK.
