I didnt come here for judgement, just answers. I have my nose pierced and I go to my first basic training camp in June/17, could I get by with that spacer? And what about post-camp? Being deployed and stationed, just wearing the clear stud while in uniform? Please be straight forward, spacer in uniform only or not at all?

The Navy, Army and Marines have recruits drop out at roughly the same rate, between 11 and 14 percent. If you are a swimmer and runner then you are in better shape than 90% of the other recruits. Boot camp is also a mental challenge. The goal is to train you to have discipline, teamwork, and strong success driven attitude. If you are really worried, talk to a Marine recruiter. They have pre-bootcamp workout sessions that will give you a taste of what to expect.
if you were discharged before finishing basic then you have less than 1 year of service and you are eligible for nothing except the title of "veteran."
if you are in the active reserve and drill one weekend a month and two weeks a year then you will earn pay for the drill period.
If you are in the Inactive or Ready Reserve you will get no pay.
