LG Xenon shuts off when closed too hard.

This is a common manufacturing error and can often be repaired by going to a touchscreen specialization store and getting them to replace the LCD screen. If this does not work I strongly suggest that you go to your local provider that you have your contract with and show them what is going on with your phone, and ask if it can be replaced. Bright lights, if you leave your phone in the sunlight, it kills the LCD screen. And if you leave it in extreme heat, even in the shade, it can cause the screen to crack.

I know what you mean.. i have the same phone and all i've had is problems.. all you can do is call at&t and see if they can replace it with a new one.. Ive gotten three from them and still they break.. There's no other way around it.... sorry

The problem with your phone is the mouthpiece,since they can not hear you at the other end, the mouthpiece of your phone is malfunctioning, that is why it works for sometime and not working again now.

Perhaps you might have hit the phone mouthpiece with a hard surface.

All you need to do is to change the mouthpiece of your phone and you will see that they can hear you at the other end.

since its only a week old i would take it back to the point of sale and see about an exchange due to device issue

Try going into settings and go back to factory default,See if that resets your phone (but make sure you back up your contacts just in case you lose them.

I just got mine a few weeks ago and it does the same exact thing (I didn't drop it, there is no water damage, I didn't understand the cause of it). I took it back to the Verizon store and I was told that the random shutting off like that is caused by having the phone outside being exposed to heat. He reset my phone back to factory settings and that did the trick for awhile (its hard for me to go to the pool and not have my phone exposed to the heat). There is no charge for them to reset the phone. Mine has started the random shutting off again back up

all you needa do is put some paper behind the battery so the battery doesnt move around much when you close it. i did it and it works great

Your phone might have a bad Flex cable...or more. Sorry, but there is no Quick Fix for this...have to take it to repair shop.
