I have a Hisense led tv model F39V77C.

When plugged in the red standby light comes on, when powered on the standby light flashes a series of times the the screen lights with line streaks for a couple seconds then sharply goes to black.There is no sound, no pic, no backlight, or image through the flashlight test. any suggestions? Since original question I've turned the unit on and checked for back light that deas appear for the few seconds it takes to go blank. The stand by light when switched on blinks 7 times then a very short blink followed by 2 more regular blinks. befor screen with lines then blank

Yeah, replace the set since it appears to be trashed. But if you have a few bucks lying around you might want to try replacing the unit's power supply to see if that resolves the many issues you have.

Hisense 50R6E3 power supply replacement issues

If you got everything hooked up when replacing the board the one you received is defective, however the power board isn't known for failure in this model set so your old one may be ok, have you tested the PWR_ON pin to see if you have voltage there when you push the power button? The 5 volt standby has to be working if you get a standby lamp, think you said it flashes. If you don't see around 3 volts when the power button is pushed on the power on pin going from the power supply to main the main board is defective, if you see voltage test the other rails coming from the power supply and see if they look good. This model has a really high failure of the LED backlights, a guess is this is what's wrong with your TV.

My Hisense TV doesn't work

If my memory serves me right 3 is no PMW signal from the main to the PS board, you can test that voltage and see if its around 3 volts
