I have a small leak drip coming from under inspection platethat i cannot pinpoint is this repairable?

The disposal has to be lifted firmly ... place a block of wood under disposal to protect ... use small bottle jack to lift,,

On the very bottom of the disposal there is a small opening in the very middle of the disposal. If you shine a light under the sink and put a mirror down on the inside of the cabinet you should be able to see this. You'll need an Allen wrench to put in the 6 sided hex hole and turn counter clockwise until the disposal turns freely. This should unjam your disposal. Don't forget you may have to hit the small reset button on the bottom too.

use plumber's putty and seal up the hole.

Replace disposal.
The disposal will rust over time, and develop leak... no repairs are possible for that problem.

Those units have problems with leaks. The reset button is on the bottom of the motor and so the leak is coming though the motor. The housing on those crack pretty easy. I have even see them wear through. They are not expensive and you can easily replace it by yourself.
