SOURCE: paper jam in brother MFC 240C

Usually small pieces of paper are jammed at the print head area. Lift up the scanner and see if you can find the paper at the print head parking area, clear the paper . If you can't find the paper, remove the scanner cables, then the scanner. You will see 2 screws at the rear and one near the USB connection. Another 3 screws towards the front will remove the front panel. Under the panel remove 4 screws and the two panel harnesses. The is a speaker harness which you must remember to attach back later (most people don't remember to put back). Lift up the top cover and you can see the whole engine. Clear any pieces of paper that might be there.

How do i fix a brother mfc-7420. when it says toners life has ended. we have tried to put new toner and drum in it. with no help. we need to clear the message

check the paperwork that came with the drum unit. Usually there is a sequence you need to follow to clear the drum message such as starting the printer with the front door open. These instructions are shipped with a new drum when you buy an orignal brother drum. If you puchased a refurbished or 3rd party drum you need to talk to your vendor as they should supply these instructions.

My Brother mfc 9440cn is printing a ghost image. how do you fix this?

The most common remedy is to clean the drum unit, but you have replaced that. Try cleaning the corona wires, p144 here

DRUM ERROR MESSAGE

Very easy but also expensive. Your drum is finished and you need to get a new one. You may find a cheap one on ebay. Thats the downside to laser printers you don't just pay for toner but also a new drum every 12000 copies or so.

My brother mfc-7840w printer keeps telling saying there is a drum error and will not print. i clean the corona wire and reset everything yet the same thing happens again and again. how do i fix this?

The drum is the photosensitive roller that the image is charged onto so I'm afraid cleaning the corona wire won't help. If the drum is removeable try reseating it, otherwise it looks like you may need to buy a new drum kit for it.
