Cracked ipod touch screen

I have only had my ipod touch 2 days and the screen cracked due to heat in my car... does my warrnaty cover this?

If I am not mistaking the warranty does not cover being left in a hot car. Try calling apple and tell them you just got your Ipod touch 2 days ago and you were downloading songs to it and while doing so it overheated and cracked. Thats considered a mechanical problem. Good Luck!

I doubt apple's warranty covers it but you can try going on ebay and buying a new screen and opening tools for like 20 bucks its easy to change good luck.

I dropped my ipod touch and it now has a chip on the side and a crack running across the screen. I purchased the 2 year product replacement care plan. How do I get it replaced?
if your plan covers the screen being dropped then get your papers together and take the ipod to the apple store they might take it and repair it / replace it ...good luck
