I have a 42 inch. Under the Coby name on the lower center front are two buttons that light up. The reset is the smaller of the two buttons.

I had a 32" Coby that did the same thing, turned out to be a defective main board. The main board wasn't sending the 3.3v signal to wake up the power supply. In my case I sold the tv for parts because it wasn't cost effective to replace the main board. It sound like your main board
