Every time I turn on my TV in the morning when the TV itself is cold, I see the LED Green ON (on the left bottom corner side), and I hear a relay click, and seconds later I hear sound (with no video) a second later I hear a click again on the relay, sound goes off, still no video, and the LED stays ON, nothing else happens then.I try to turn the tv off but no relay click is heard, and LED is OFF. sometiems the TV does not respond any more but still I have to try to turn the LED offto get it to work, I have to unplug the power cord for a couple of seconds.when I plug the power cord again. I can hear the relay click again, the LED ON for seconds and then off again, then I turn th TV ON relay click is heard LED ON and sonund begins, but the video takes like 1 or 2 minutes to come but in the process picture appears and desappears several times until it stabilizes, and TV wrks perfectly.when the TV is warm I turn it off and on again the startup is normal; sound and video appears immediately as it should be always.

After I turn off the TV, it's silent for a minute or so, and then clicks 5-7 times. It is silent for another minute or so, then clicks again (5-7 times) and keeps repeating this pattern. I've unplugged it overnight to reset it, but that has not fixed the issue. The TV performs normally when on; no clicking at all. Anyone know what the cause of the clicking when off is? Thanks! After I turn off the TV, it's silent for a minute or so, and then clicks 5-7 times. It is silent for another minute or so, then clicks again (5-7 times) and keeps repeating this pattern. Ur power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics’ and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get ur tv power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
I need to know how long do you have the tv?In the other word, approx. how many hours you have put into it? Secondly, did you wall mounted the tv or setting it close the the area which there is not much room for the back of your tv to breath? solutiondoct
relay clicking is a power board failure --- part of the board still works to supply power to the flashing lights--- the lights are related to an error code while in protection mode
the ssb is located on bottom middle when looking at back of tv with back cover off. has inputs and tuner on it. part number is 313926727671 and is buyable through vancebaldwin.com. when replacing a small signal board and you don't have picture you need to enter 062598 menu (diversity code which is 3 digit numeric code located on option code sticker on panle itself). hope this helps dan
i am familiar with this power supply in philips models. this fault code on the psu refers to a fault within Vscan circuitry. you will be unable to check correct voltages as the set is in protection mode.
you can disconnect the Y-Sus board(to the left of the psu) and if the led stops flashing you can almost guarantee the Y-Sus pcb is faulty!
