Hello. I purchased the Thermaltake Blacx Duet-Dual Hard Drive Docking Station and am currently attempting to clone to 2 SATAs. How do I know when the cloning is complete?

Your doing a cloning of two large drives using a USB device as I have the same docking station. Cloning a 2TB drive will take some time depending on how much data and number of files on the drive being cloned. USB even 3.0 protocol is dog slow!
Give it time and do not interrupt the clone once started.

My windows 7 Home will not read my new Thermaltake BlacX Duet. Downloaded new driver and still no luck. Anyone have some suggestions? Im not a programmer, but can follow instructions. Thermaltake web

try with knowingly functionating hdd, also hdd sometimes will not display in my computer due to partition error, but will display in control panel- administrative tools - computer management - disk management , new hdd-s might do the same because they only have unallocated space, and need formating. I don't know if the device itself should display itself or not, check in device manager but maybe its normal that its invisible and shows only hdd-s. If a hard disk has malfunctioned to an extent, you will not see it anywhere in windows
hope this helps

What does the blue blinking light at the very bottom, under the blue power button indicates?

According to the Dell 531 owners manual:

"Drive activity light-
blue light - A blinking blue light indicates the computer is reading data from or writing data to the SATA hard drive, CD, DVD or HDD."

http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/inspd531/en/OM/appendix.htm

Safe to ignore. It will blink even when the computer appears to be idle.

I have the Thermaltake BlacX 5G Dual hard drive docking station and I cannot get the hard drives to show up on my computer. I don't have USB 3 on my computer so I am using a regular USB 2.0 cable. I...

I know it might sound a bit simple, but let's start at the beginning.

Make sure that the power is properly plugged in, and that it's securely plugged into the USB port.

Put in the hard drive you will be using.
Now turn on your device by clicking on the power button.
Listen out for a "ding" or a chime in your OS.

If you DO hear one, the hard drives may need to be properly formatted or not properly assigned.

If you hear a chime, go to your desktop and right-click on "Computer" and click "Manage"

Go to "Disk Management" and at the top, there are a few options, and check for your hard drives, and right-click on the proper one and click on "Change Drive Letter and Paths" assign it a letter, and check "Computer" to see if came up.

Thanks,

Western Digital World Book 1TB - Lights don't light, HDD vibrates

I would try to connect the drive directly into an ide or a sata cable on the motherboard. Maybe using the western digital tools from their website you'll be able to access the data and copy it. I hope this helps you.

Blinking blue light

the only blue light that i know blinks is the Kmart blue light special .. we need model of things you're working with to properly diagnose.
is it external drive ? with a blue light blinking ? is it connected in usb ? sounds like if its external drive with blinking light could be bad hard disk or bad controller card inside that translates ide to usb.
