You'll need to order one from Kobalt for around $23 plus $10 fer delivery. Happened to me once and when l found out how much it was gunna cost l told the salesperson to stuff it up their a$$ and threw it out and bought a new machine off ebay.

First try Lowe's, the only Kobalt tool retailer. If they can't help you, the Kobalt customer service number is (888) 356-2258. I looked for Kobalt power tool parts onlline without success. That may suggest that their one-and-only retailer is the only source, or it may mean you should look for a replacement saw, basing your choice on likely future parts availability.

I buy my band saw blades on www.sawblade.com. I have a great experience with them. They custom made band saw blades -German Engineered but USA made. They have centers in CO, TX and KY . You can get their Flex Back Carbon 7 ft 6 inch 1/2" 6TPI blade for as low as $11.69 . Call them.

Is the blade the correct one for the type of wood you are cutting?? There will be recommendations on the saw blade. Finer toothed blades are for plywood, etc. Aggressive or large tooth blades are for thicker wood.

If you mean that the teeth alternate sides in which they point, this is normal. This aids in the blade clearing cut material from the path of the blade making sure it does not clog. Almost all saws for wood have this tooth pattern. If you have doubts look at a new replacement blade for the saw.
