I need to replace a KOBALT 15 inch aggressive tooth handsaw blade. I was told to throw the entire saw away and just buy a new saw ... REALLY? Do you sell just the saw blade?

Fixya site sells nothing
you can get new blades from a good tool shop or take the old band to a saw sharpener shop and have a new one made
the band length and width and will be on a decal under the lid that covers the band or on the machine somewhere
failing that , use a tape measure and measure the distance around the wheels ( as it if is a band) and that will be the length and then measure the width of the wheels and that will be the width of the band
make the measurement with the band tension adjustment all the way in so that if the band is a touch longer you can adjust the tension up

Kobalt 24v brushless reciprocating saw seizes when you pull trigger. It clicks (light comes on) but blade won't move

It sounds like you are experiencing an issue with your Kobalt 24v brushless reciprocating saw. There could be a few potential causes for the saw to seize when the trigger is pulled and the blade won't move. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the battery: Make sure that the battery is fully charged and properly installed in the saw. If the battery is low or not seated correctly, the saw may not have enough power to operate.
  2. Check the blade: Make sure that the blade is properly installed and tightened. If the blade is not properly installed or tightened, it may cause the saw to seize.
  3. Check the motor: If the motor is not functioning properly, it could cause the saw to seize. You may need to have the motor checked by a professional if this is the case.
  4. Check for debris: If there is debris stuck in the blade or in the saw, it could cause the saw to seize. Carefully remove any debris that you find.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to take the saw to a repair shop or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Where can I get a plastic lower guard replacement for a 10 inch sliding compound miter saw kobalt brand?

Hello, John -

I am not finding a replacement lower guard for your model of Kobalt miter saw for sale online.

In the owner's manual for the Kobalt miter saw model SM2507LW (Kobalt is owned by Lowe's), I found the following information on the last page (page 50):
(Quote)
For replacement parts, call our customer service department at 1-888-3KOBALT (1-888-356-2258)
(End quote)
Source:
http://pdf.lowes.com/useandcareguides/000999312085_use.pdf

Note: All the parts and their part numbers are listed in the owner's manual: pages 41-48.

Therefore, I suggest you call the Kobalt Customer Service number and ask about the availability of the needed part. From the Kobalt Contact Us information, Customer Service is available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Eastern Time.)

Best wishes,

I need a arbor nut and washer for a kobalt 10 inch table saw model kt 1015

First try Lowe's, the only Kobalt tool retailer. If they can't help you, the Kobalt customer service number is (888) 356-2258. I looked for Kobalt power tool parts onlline without success. That may suggest that their one-and-only retailer is the only source, or it may mean you should look for a replacement saw, basing your choice on likely future parts availability.

New blades, new belt.. burning the wood when I try to maky any type of cut

Is the blade the correct one for the type of wood you are cutting?? There will be recommendations on the saw blade. Finer toothed blades are for plywood, etc. Aggressive or large tooth blades are for thicker wood.

I just purchased the ryobi 9 inch bandsaw, used it once or twice and have noticed that the teeth on the blade are crooked. is that a typical problem, is it a problem at all?

If you mean that the teeth alternate sides in which they point, this is normal. This aids in the blade clearing cut material from the path of the blade making sure it does not clog. Almost all saws for wood have this tooth pattern. If you have doubts look at a new replacement blade for the saw.
