I own a 1949 Frigidaire RM-45 stove. One of the small elements has stopped working. Looking for a manual for this stove. Does anyone know where I could find one? This stove is my baby.

How to stop beeping noise on my stove? Can I use the top of my stove?

Try turning breaker off for 2 minutes then back on. That may clear the code. Top elements should work independently of oven control

Stove top stopped working but oven and warmer element work.

You have a defective breaker. Once you replace it the oven will get the correct voltage restored.

What's wrong and how do I fix it?

The circuit breaker outside in the power panel for the stove has a bad breaker. It will be two breakers with their handles joined together by a pin so if one tripe it takes the other so 220 V is no longer present. When one, but not the other trips you only have 110 V. That's why the lights and clock still work but no heating elements.

Frigidaire stove model CFEF372EC3 Ser #NF60720192

Things to check : Thermostat, heating element and the circuit breaker for the stove at the power panel. If the stove has lights and the clock works, there is a 100 % chance the circuit breaker is at fault. There are 2 breakers with joined trip handles. One of those breakers has tripped without tripping the other which stops 20 volts but not 120 volts that the clock and light run off of. You can use a multimeter to check the element for continuity. If there is continuity then check for the presence of voltage at the element terminals. None indicates a bad thermostat.

The oven won't work, neither elements, both stopped working at once. Stove top elements still work normal, as well as all other functions, just no oven. Tried to find fuses and could not locate any. Can...

It sounds like an electronic clock/timer problem. The clock must be in the manual mode for the oven to work. It sounds like it might be in auto. mode for both elements to stop working at the same time.
