Frigidaire ffew2725PBB electric in wall oven takes 20-40 min past when "preheat" ends to come to set temp. after about a half hour, it drops from 350 to 220. setting 450 gets it to slowly rise to 350. trying to get 400 - set at 550 and only get 345. I checked input power, Temp sensor 1080 ohms, broil 17 ohms, and bake element 36 ohms - all good. it is either the control panel or electronic oven control. i dont know how to troubleshoot further. there are no fault codes. on a call to frigidaire the "tech" said it was control panel but circuit tracing seems to indicate the EOC. please help! UPDATE. there is no logic circuitry in the control panel, only buttons. The EOC has all the relays and circuit logic that controls the oven. I will change the EOC.
Is this an electric oven? Sound like a bad breaker to me if it is.
Testimonial: "i checked the power at the connection terminals at the back of the oven and all is correct."
Hi friend, thank you for your post!
I know from your post that your Frigidaire oven is working but the preheat takes 30 minutes. This does sound like lengthy amount of time for preheat to be completed. From what you are describing it could be an issue with the panel, element, or thermostat. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose your refrigerator to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. -Matt
