1- Royal Coffee is not an accurate model. I have to assume that you are having problem with the auto frother that is on the left side of the machine. The auto frother draws milk from the bottle and steams it into the cup.
2- The connection of the frother & the adapter is not right/air tight. The two O-rings on the frother must be pushed in all the way so the O-ring will not be visible.
3- The frother circular chamber for steaming is not clean. There should be no milk deposits visible at all.

4- The silicone tube puling milk from the bottle is connected to the body of the frother with an L-shaped connector. Make sure this connector is air tight fit.

Cappuccinatore Milk Temperature on Saeco Royal Pro Machine

Hi

First open it up and run it without any milk attached until just mostly steam is coming thru. Turn off - then drop the tube into a jug of milk which is locted below the outlet. If its steaming, the milk will be heated up ok - it may need flow adjusting - lift the thin 'plug' near the tube up and down to adjust flow. You can add to the froth by lifting the tube out of the milk for a moment then back in again a few times.

To clean the unit just run clean water tru as tho it was milk until it comes out totally clear (about 1/4 cup). For hygiene sake make sure the tube is wiped clean on the outside with a clean paper each and every time when finished.
You can flush your main coffee lines out by making out its doing a large preground coffee - but don't put any preground in.

Select preground - select large coffee and go. Pays also to remove the brew unit and wash in warm water once a week - saves coffee goo building up and causing it to stick.

The mahine does not froth the milk properly anymore

alisha165,

the saeco royal digital dosn't froth milk.... it produces steam, you are the one that froths the milk. is the machine still producing steam? if not you will need to have your steam boiler replaced. This should only be dune by a qualified repairer. If it is still producing steam but it is not as good as it use to be, descalling you machine may help.

Steamer and milk frother not working

This sounds like one of several problems:
1. Does any indicator light come on? If there is one and it doesn't you either have a bad thermostat (size of a dime/1/4 inch thick) black item with two wires attached to the chamber or a bad heater. Check both with an ohm meter...Resistance of any kind across the terminals means okay.
2. Could be the switch. Same kind of test.
3. If you've got a steam leak, deal with that...new cap or valve.

Make sure all wire fasters are clean and bright. If screwed down, make sure they are tight. Cycle each connector off and on to clean them.

Remember: always work on your unit with it unplugged. You may need torx screwdrivers to open this unit. Any hardware store will have sets of these items.

Saeco Royal coffee machine

There is probably something wrong with the milk frother. I would purchase a new one before having the machine serviced.
