When you reformat again using the proper disk, you should be ok with formatting. Whether or not you can recover the video is yet to be seen. Regards, Joe
in your case i dont think your door switch is faulty, i think that a faulty switch that is on the same key line as the eject switch is causing this. The cause can also be on the main pcb, like a faulty microprocessor.
one best way is apply a lil pressure from the edge of the door...or...use an hair dyer...and blow a lil warm air...not holding very close but at a fair distance...and then eject. Usually by this it shd open..or else u need an assistance of a technician
