Firesticks can be plugged into your TV via a HDMI slot. It works like Roku, it has streaming apps and it does allow you to watch Amazon Prime. It no longer has the YouTube app in case you watch that.
amazon prime isnt on dish network. You have to use either your cellphone to cast it to your tv, or get a device like amazon firestick for your tv.($30)
You then have to log into Amazon to access the video stuff.
You must go to Amazon.com sign up an account and sign up for prime member to be able to renew your membership. Amazon firestick needs Amazon prime account in order to watch video from Amazon. Otherwise you can always use other App available to watch what you are looking for.

Unless the tv came preloaded with amazon app you'll need a firestick. If you see the amazon app on the tv's screen.,then you don't need a stick.

Plug your Firestick into one of the HDMI ports on your TV. Plug the USB power cable into your Firestick and into the wall or a USB outlet on your TV (if there is one)
Turn on your TV and set the INPUT device to the correct HDMI port. There should be a splash screen or setup screen on your TV at that point.
Using your Firestick remote, navigate to network settings and scan for your WI-FI router, Then enter the Wi-Fi password for your router (the same one you use for your smart phone or laptop).
You should be able to fully use your Amazon Firestick, and if you have Amazon Prime, be able to access all prime and free offerings from Amazon.
I use a FireStick and it does have Netflix. I would recommend signing up using a computer first (they give you 1 month free) and then you can use the same credentials to sign into Netflix through the FireStick. If you are asking whether you are already signed up on Amazon Prime, then I suggest you sign into Amazon and check your account through there.
