The embroidery unit does not work the unit will not cycle . please help me
Well, according to the service manual, E10 means "Problem in
Cam1 signal." I have a feeling that it is one of two possibilities, especially since you have no problem sewing.
The unit lets the machine know it's attached by the plugs on the back of the machine and unit. The male part is on the machine; take a look at it and see if any of the pins are bent. Also, make sure that when you connect it, the embroidery unit is squarely on the machine, and the plugs have a good connection with each other.
Also make sure that the machine and unit are actually resting flat on the surface. I had this problem and discovered that the table I had it on had begun to sag and cause an incomplete connection.
Now, there is another possibility. Put your hand on the carriage that holds the hoop and see if there's "play" in it. If so, it means that the mechanism that drives the hoop in the unit is loose. Turn the unit over, and test the tightness of the screws that are in deep indentations. There are a number of screws that are in shallow indentations; they are keeping the cover on, and you're not interested n them -- only the ones that are deep. They are so deep, you'll probably have to use a flashlight to see them. If there are any loose screws, tighten them, but tighten them all the way, then back off by 1/2 turn.
Yes it is but I am having a difficult time finding a repair place
