Ps3 not reading any of my games...it used to only be pro evo 09 that was funny at times although its not damaged? was playing fight night game was loading, i left the room to come back to the same screen....restarted & now nothing reads.....get a little spinning icon top right & thats it!
The disk drive could be going bad. or the laser it self could be out of place. you could go to a tech store. I know there is a microcenter were i live that does this kind of thing.

have your Hard drive and all cables connected to your PS3 unplugged, after 2 to 3 minutes try to load a game again, if this does not fix the problem, probably the main problem is that the lens might be damage, bring it to a local electronics or computer repair shop and let them have a check on it.
The laser in the dvd drive requires different strengths to read different discs. If its reading movies and not games then the laser is starting to go bad in it. You can either replace the laser if your tech save to open up the ps3 and opening up the dvd drive, or you can just get another drive to put in there. Either one you can get from Ebay fairly cheap.
Are you using a router to connect your computers to the internet? Your router holds all the info for your LAN. You can get into the router software via your web browser, and find the ip assigned to the ps3. Next put that ip into the DMZ of the router. POst back if you have questions so I can walk you through it.
This is what used to happen to me on my ps3 slim 160 GB when I put the disc in the screen goes black and int he top left corner I have a flashing disc, i updated the system to FW 4.00 and now the game works fine, i was previously running FW 3.73.
