The horn on my CTM HS-740 is not working. How do I check it out?

Remove the top tiller console and check connections from membrane horn switch to horn. Test for voltage to the switch with a voltmeter. Check for voltage to the horn when the switch is pressed. These horns are inexpensive and easy to replace by splicing the wires and hot gluing the new horn inside the cover.Hope this helps

My ctm hs 580 first flashed 5 then 8 times fault codes checked loom and electronics seemed ok. persists with 8 flash code motor fault tested motor ok. ??

hi, now i could be wrong but some models of CTM mobility scooters had a fuse on the tiller circuit board located under the tiller cover...

Be sure to remove a battery connection before looking ...

Intermitant drive power on my ctm hs 740 mobility scooter

The problem is going to be your motor. After extensive usage, the motor will give up internally and some times it will burn and melt the possitive/negative cables at its housing and it will give you issues with the batteries and the module.

How do you get hjs 2800 chair out of sleep mode, tried reset button, no change, power lights flash rapidly, no ripple

Turn off, then turn back on and push the "horn" button twice. This should work. Let me know.
