SOURCE: food processor attachment won't fit the machine

I actually got tired of trying to figure it out and just unscrewed the bottom and removed the plastic part. It works fine now!
I had a screwdriver to use with a mobile phone, I think its called t9 or something.

SOURCE: Broken food processor lid

Check EBAY UK for any older models = you might not be able to get the lid on its own - Moulinex parts are difficult to come by unless they are still being made. Failing that visit UK shops such as Cash Converters or similar - you can sometimes find these food processors there.

Something I saw on Chowhound worked for me--turn the lid in the back-on direction, then twist it off!

Need a lid for Kenwood FMP91 food processor

The lid for the Kenwood FMP910 food processor should fit the FMP91 model. Both the FMP91 and FMP910 models use the same size and type of lid, so the FMP910 lid should be compatible with your FMP91 food processor.
If you are unable to find a lid specifically for the FMP91 model, you should be able to use a lid for the FMP910 model as a substitute. You can purchase a replacement lid for the FMP910 model online or at a store that sells Kenwood products.

Lid stuck on work bowl of kitchen aid processor

This tip is used to remove a stuck bowl from the base of a Kitchen Aid tilt-head mixer. It might work for your situation. Fill the bowl with very hot water (use the food shoot as a pour spout). Now use either frozen gel packs, or a bag of ice cubes, and lay the ice on top of the lid. Wait for a few minutes. The hot water with make bowl expand, ice will make lid shrink, thus loosening the tight lid. I'm assuming that the lid edge fits inside of the bowl, like most food processors do. Try to gently move the lid, and see if it'll give.

Failure to swtich on the machine

Have you checked that the bowl and the lid are clicked into place? Most Food Processors have a safety switch so that you can't turn the blade on with out the lid secured firmly.

I got a new bosch mixer, food processor for christmas. The food processor will not go down on the main body of the mixer, because of a white piece of plastic inside the bottom of the processor. I thought...

Not too many people offer to pay for advice, but that's no problem. This is a vollenteer site.

The issue with your food processor is because the cutting chamber and lid need to be correctly assembled so that the tabs on the pot and lid line up andslip into a slot in the handle. This will move the plastic peice out of the way.
A safety device to prevent putting fingers into the pot while in operation..
Watch this video and it will explain it.. about 2 mins in..

Our new food processor doesn't fit our old Bosch

There is a separate discussion on this on fixya. The plastic piece should automatically "retract" back into the handle when you attach the processor. Some have removed teh plastic piece and reports it works then, but you should not need to do that.

Lid broke

change the lid found a web site that seems to have the part. I was looking for the same item. I just put in FP1445 (Processor model number) in the search field and it showed all the parts available. There are no images though so I hope it fits when I get it. Here's the web site. http://estore.fox-international.com/b&d.asp
