Can my Polaroid DVG-720 be charged with my computer with the usb connection?

Not sure of the model number of your polaroid tablet you have. Generally the adapter should be an AC adapter for 220V or 110V depending on country. It is unlikely you will have to select 6v or 12v. If you are unsure charge the tablet through the USB cable connected to a computer. It might take a bit longer to charge and make sure the computer is connected to mains charger to avoid drain on computer (laptop, etc) battery.

If you have a 7" tablet then I am assuming it is a PMID705. See manual on this link.

The manual says it is a 5v DC output connector for the adapter. Not sure why you are asking the question. If in doubt send email to polaroid support on the address at end of the attached manual.

By online, I'm assuming you mean connected to your computer (via the USB port).
Just power on your GPS, then connect your GPS to your computer, using the USB port, and decline the CONNECT to Computer prompt. The GPS will then still be plugged into the USB port and the battery will be charged.

i strong recommedn to return the company. The SYScom can be faulty. see the diagram attached.

It should have a USB port on it, you can just plug it in to a pc USb port.
Or take the memory card out and plug it in to a compatible card reader.

Hi just got a Polaroid DVG-720 HD Camcorder and have had it charging for almost 2 days. The red light is still blinking, how long does it need to charge for?
Do I need to have the SD card in while it is charging?

Hey mkafirebird, I don't have a good answer for you other than perhaps a ribbon cable could've come loose? Polaroid is definitely not helping with this camera since they've discontinued this model(more like disowned it). My lcd was cracked, and I wanted to replace it, but there aren't any replacement parts out there according to Polaroid...

Lens caps for this model camera are not available from Polaroid, unfortunately.you could certainly fashion one from a used medicine bottle cap. Find a one that fits over the lens, paint it black, and add a string or take a lanyard from your old camera and use it! It's a cheap alternative, but an alternative nonetheless!

I had the same problem. I tried uninstalling software and re-installing it. That did not help. I reset my TomTom Go 720 with the reset button on the bottom of the unit. The computer then recognized my TomTom.
