Mine is an ongoing issue, for almost 6 weeks now. I cannot access my Pinterest account. I get no results when I sign on to Pinterest, or when I push the Pinterest button.
The first sign of trouble was when I got a message that something had run out or stopped and at that point I was told to paste something to my browser. This was Greek to me and thus began my many desperate pleas for help. At 70 years old, I am unable to follow any instructions. The second thing I was told was to deactivate my account and then reinactivate it. I then read that to deactivate would lose all my boards and pins, so then I was and still am, afraid to do anything! I adore Pinterest. I am a shut in, physically challenged and Pinterest adds so much joy to my daily life. My last email was from a woman, at Corp., and she listed several suggestions...however, I did not understand them, plus, if I exited the email to do what she instructed, I had to hope I could still have the email to go back to, and I immediately did the unthinkable...I lost the email entirely. I am so fed up with myself at this point, I had a computer repair man come to the house to work on my iPad and my laptop, but he said he knew nothing about Pinterest and could not help me at all. I have contacted you for help so many times on this, it is embarrassing and I am sure I have made a nuisance of myself. The initial email, notifying me that something was wrong with my account, is when all the trouble began. I have enjoyed Pinterest for several years, and have no idea what the initial email was talking about. That is when I was told to deactivate and then deactivate my account, and also told to paste something to my browser. It sounds so simple, but I am at a total loss. Again, I am terrified of losing my boards and 57,000.00 pins. Can someone at Corp. try again to help me? Also, is there any chance that they could call me and instruct me over the phone? I am desperate to save my boards/pins.Could someone please try one more time to help me?

Carol, it would appear that a virus has been put into your machine indicated from the instructions you have received
you may have no alternative than to ask someone to take the unit to a computer repair shop or get an computer expert in to assist you to check it out
There may be a way of saving your data but be prepared for the worst
sorry for that advice but you need assistance from a one on one source rather than from forums to help fix the problem

Hi! If you are on a cell, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner - LOG OUT will be at the bottom of the list to click on. On a pc, in the upper right corner you'll see EDIT PROFILE. Next to that is a black wheel. Click on it. LOG OUT is at the bottom of the list to click on. I hope this helps!
When the site opens, click either 1) "Sign Up With Email", 2) "Sign Up With Facebook" or 3) "Already Have An Account? Log In Now" Bookmark the site and you can get in anytime you want on that machine.
Do you remember your old log in and password? If you do, you will just need to log in and go to your account info to change them. If you do not remember, you should be able to just sign up and use new info.
