I'm not aware of any button on car cd units. Usually when a cd is stuck in the unit, you need to take another cd, open the door and gently lift or pry up the stuck cd to release it.

I have a Dell Demension 5100, and the power button got stuck. By stuck, I mean that the power button is pushed in, but not released. It's stuck as if you pressed the power button, but did not release...

if your PC have restart button then open your PC and check the power cable slots and change them into a reset mode removing reset cable to reset slots and attach to power slot. Then you can power your pC with reset button. If you can open front case then you can outside the button .

urn on radio - the word SAFE will appear in the display. Press th P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000" lights up in the display.Release buttons.Do not, under no circumtances, continue holding them down or press them once again. This will cause the radio to consider the number 1000 to be the input code.Use station buttons 1,2,3,and 4 to enter the code number on your Radio Card. Use the button 1 to enter the first number 2 for the second number 3 for the third number and 4 for the last number.Once you have entered the code and it shows on the display, press the P.SCAN and RBDS buttons down again simultaneously and hold them down until the word SAFE appears in the display.Release buttons. Soon afterwards a frequency will be displayed.

Pause button is stuck

hi soblessed,

the plastic push lock that holds the button is possibly broken, but hopefully the mechanism incorporated with the button has not been damaged because it was pushed too far.

to have this issue resolved, you may use something pointed to nudge the button from its place and free it from being stuck. Or you may remove the screws from the button, freeing the upper case from the lower case exposing the other side of the controls, so you can push the pause button out.

regards,

CD stuck in tray for DXZ648RMP player

Figure out what fuse controls the CD player and pull the fuse out for a minute (or more), then replace it (theory being that the fuse acts as a reset button). If you cannot find the fuse, you can disconnect the negative battery cable, but you'll lose your radio and other settings. This trick seems to have the greatest chance of success overall.
Turn your ignition on to the accessory position. Hold the eject button down for 2 or 3 minutes. Depending on your make/model, the eject button may flash. When the button stops flashing (or when a few minutes has passed), release the button and immediately press it again (theory being that the two minutes of "work" followed by a quick break will fool the player into releasing the disc when you press the eject button again).
Try using some tweezers, needle nose pliers or hemostats (every tool kit needs a hemostat or two!) to pull the CD out while pressing the eject button with power going to the player (theory being that the disc is so slick the player can't eject it without help). Some people report success just by pulling the disc out with the tweezers without power to the player and without pressing the eject button.
If your player has a small hole in the front of it, like most personal computer CD players do, straighten a paperclip and push the clip straight into the hole to manually release the catch. Some players have a groove under the CD door instead of a hole. Look for a hole about the size of the paperclip and don't mistake an emergency release hole for an earphone jack.
