Robot Coupe R2N Food Processor motor doesn't start. Try to remove the screws but failed. It is too deep to reach the screws. What kind of tool do I need to remove the screws. it looks like hexa key.

You will need to find a "small appliance repair shop" in your area, most likely the main PCB has failed, it controls the motor. Check the yellow pages.

It just a long shaft phillips screwdriver. The screws are located under the foot pads. They just pull out and then there are the four screws.

There are 4 rubber shoes on the bottom of the white or gray base. Twist & pull these out. With a TORX long shank screwdriver (nothing else works, trust me) there is a screw way down in each hole. After removing the screws a gentle but firm bump should loosen the base. If you ever need to replace the motor, on the top around the drive shaft you will see three round plugs/disks, remove them by prying up with a pocket knife (works best) this will give you access to the three motor bolts.

There is a reed swich (safety switch) located on the top where the lid comes down. A reed switch works with a magnet. If the magnet is missing or the reed swictch is bad, no power will be allowed to the motor. Send me your e-mail & I will look up the part # in my Robot-Coupe manual. [email protected]

Remove the base the screws are under the rubber feet,on top of the machine there are three screw caps remove these with a bradel, unscrew screws with large torx screw driver, remove spindle anti clockwise by locking out fan at base. for all Robot coupe parts go to http://www.catering-machines.com/
