Philips magnavox 6P6030 W101 picture is too big and can't see the outer edge of the full picture

Not easy with a older set----look to see if a physical control exists in the set for Vertical size (picture too tall) and the adjustment may only exist in a hidden on screen menu.

I have a viewsonic GA655 monitor and the screen is too big so you cant see part of it. How do I make it fit in the monitor screen? How do I adjust the size and geometry?

You didn't specify which operating system you're using! If using Windows 7 go to start --> control panel --> and under the category "Appearance and Personalization" choose "Adjust Screen Resolution", and adjust to an appropriate size!

The picture is too big for the screen. The four buttons will only adjust colour and contrast - not size

To adjust the screen size (resolution) you have to right click on an empty place on Desktop, select Properties and then Settings. Under screen resolution change it to more, until it shows under it 1024x768, or even bigger if you want and it is possible.

Screen to big !!! icons extra big and internet screen incompletes

Hi Jessica, on your "Desktop screen," [right / alt click] to open the shortcut menu, next select one of the choices for the "icon size, ie: Medium or Large. In the same "Desktop" shortcut menu click on "Personalize," in the next window, left "Tasks" area, select and open the "Adjust font size (DPI), change the size in the [DPI Scaling] window, select the "Default scale size (96 DPI)," or you can use the {Custom DPI...} below to change the size, to your preferences. If the suggestions helped, show your appreciation for the services by giving a "Helpful Rating" thank you for using "Fix' Ya."
