I am look for a part download for a brother XL5130 sewing machine or repair manual

There is a hidden screw just that looks like a hole beside the screw that hold the needle... loosen it with # 8 allen key (pretty small) then you put the curved wire back in its hole, then you can put it back on the arm, then screw back the allen screw as tight as you can, this should do the trick worked for me ... I was tring for days to fix it back on but wouldnt go in...this invisible screw was to tight... Hope it helped !

You should be able to slide it from the bottom and push it in upward position and turn the screw to tighten. Hope this helps!Jimmy

when you put a new needle in the machine, it will still not do a zig zag stitch?

Are you saying that it will not sew a straight seam, only zig zag? Or are you just moving it by hand? Because I am not sure that I understand what you are asking. Please elaborate the details.

The only hemming I see in the manual is for blind hem stitching (page 35).

If there is another attachment that you have purchased, such as the rolled-hem foot - please reply.

Both techniques take a bit of practice.

Check to ensure that you have routed your bobbin thread properly in the bobbin case.

knocked out of time, this model difficult to get the plastic shell off the front, suggest taking for repair
