It's 14.3 to 14.6v unregulated, rated at 4.5amp continuous output.
The transformer should have the output voltage listed, probably in very small print, on it. It also should show the input voltage. If it does not have the markings you can measure the voltage output with a volt meter.
You can't couple AC (from transformer) to DC (from a battery)..you will have lots of fireworks if you try

i did the same to mine,
just replace the power transformer with one that accepts 110-240 volts
easy to do, but check cost might be better to buy a new set depends on your situation

I think I remember it being in the 12-24VAC range. If you are still interested I will open mine up and measure it.
