2009 Lucerne is blowing the ECM 10 amp fuse. Seems to do it after a right turn and acceleration. The circuit has ben traced but no issue was found. Said it could be a short that is hard to find.

Sounds like you have a short somewhere in the ECM harness. Chances are that the original ECM wasn't going bad, it has likely been a wiring issue the whole time. If you are no good at trouble shooting wiring issues, you need to find you a competent mechanic.

Test the circuit for that fuse and correct the short. Sounds like you have a parasitic draw on the circuit

Go to your local electrical supplier and they will rent you a signal generator. With it you connect to the circuit at the breaker box and you can trace the circuit through finished walls.

Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay.
Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. A fuse blown is a short, and a short is a ahort.
The fuse is the ecm so unplug the ecm and see what happens. If the fuse holds with theecm unplugged, then it is your ecm that needs relacement. If it still blows, The short is in the wiring.go to the parts store and pick up and automatic circuit breaker. It plugs in where the bad fuse goes. It will trip and reset itself automaticallly like a flasher until you have located the short. trick, Start with a breaker of amp. examole; if you took out a 20 amp, put in a 10 amp so the breaker trips faster, On and off quicker so you don't have to wait between ressets. If you want to trace the short by the wiring, put a 25 amp or with great caution a 30 amp. That is the limit. The wire will get warm on the 25 and even warmer on the 30. Pay attention that the wire does not get hot. Hopefully yhe 25 will get the wire warm enough for you to follow. Good Luck, Ned. This method is dangerous if you don't pay very close attention using the high amp breaker. There is a risk of fire if the circuit cannot handle 30 amps. In fact, only yuse the 30 amp breaker if the 25 breaks and resets too fast. Good Luck_Ned_

that fuse feeds power to fuel pump relay circuit that feeds pump could be defective pump,or damaged circuit wires that shorts out! and not a good idea to put higher fuse in circuit could cause more damage to circuit! but i know when your stuck, u do what it takes,so inspect circuit related to fuse,
