No fires with Nickel Cadmium batteries. April 1998 Technology
It's a guess, but all phones have intelligent charging. The phone is treating your new battery the same as the old one and is reducing or turn off charging one it reaches the Mah of the old battery.
It sounds like it is working, so don't worry.
AliExpress appear to sell the batteries as well as here
you will start by inserting your sim into the sim compartment very well then put on the phone but pressing the red button to switch on the phone then wait some mintues to all the phone **** very before the usage of the phone. But anything is done make the battery is fully charged
My dear friend, sorry, there is no other way to power on your nokia 5160 xpress music phone. The only other way you can power it on is to get the phone opened and use an object to touch the power button manually.
If your phone does not power on by the power button, first ensure that your battery is fully charged. Then you check if your phone is working properly. Test your battery by inserting it in another phone and try to charge it for about 2 hours, then you power on the phone to see if the battery will turn it on. Then you insert a well charged battery into your phone, then you power it on, if it turns on, then it means it is the battery you are to replace, but if it does not, then it means there is an internal problem with the phone.
Hope this helped you.
try to put back the old sim card.. if u have the same problem with both the sim cards, then it must ba the display proble. your battery can be checked by inserting into another similar compatible phone.

This is an old problem of Nokia 5310, sometimes, this phone will just automatically switch off. Please try this one:
1. Remove the battery of the phone and leave it for about 2 minutes. 2. Insert the battery and try to turn the phone on. 3. If you will get the same problem, you need to bring it to the authorized Nokia Care Center for firmware upgrade or repair.
NOTE: If the phone is under warranty, it should be free of charge.
from what I hear, you have either fully charged your battery or your battery is pretty much completely dead.
your options:
1. If it's completely dead and won't hold a charge it's time to purchase another battery, this happens from time to time so don't freak out about it.
2. If it's fully charged, try taking the battery completely out of the phone, and re-inserting it after a few minutes, sometimes cell phones need to be reset.
3. ensure that your charger is working properly, if its not getting juice to it neither is your phone.
4. try to dial your number just to see what happens to the phone.
5. if someone else u know has a charger like yours try to borrow theirs to charge your phone possibly ruling out a bad charger
My Nokia 2310 suddenly switched off. It didnt switch on again. I tried putting the battery(of problem phone) into another cellphone, the battery works fine. I tried to charge the problem phone, but is not showing any activity upon inserting the charger jack. Other phones are getting charged using the same charger.
The camera was working fine 5 days ago. Yesterday when I tried to switch it on, I assumed that the battery was flat so I charged it but when fully charged the camera still won't switch on. i Please help!
