When i try to turn on my KDL-40w605B it blinks 6x times. I know to powersupply is good, and i have a multimeter if that helps me anyway.

IKR Error at power on 05. 5 blinks denotes this. Actually, the fault is related to its main digital board, and the work will not an easy one. Anyway, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ check this link. Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timslide option, and see whether there is something to help you. If you're not sound in electronics, no need to proceed. Contact any service technician or authorized service centre for Sony.

i have a Sony Bravia LCD TV KDL-60EX645
and it Blinks about 6 times every 25 seconds and it blinks next to the "Power" symbol? what does that mean? i cannot turn on the tv because it turns of and its not on eco and i just got it for christmas. its a 55" and i have a 3 year warrinty. but do i need to pay for it, or will it turn back on later ive been waiting about a week? i am a major gamer i usually spend 14-16 hours using the tv i am a youtuber, but does it burn out? i know alot about tv's but im not used to this error... i need some help so please contact me at [email protected]

The 6X blink code is a bad back light error. could be one of the florescent bulbs in the panel if it shows a picture for a couple seconds and there is a darker band across the screen. Also Found loose connector CN6153 on the G5 Power Board.
CN6153 goes to CN6702 on the D4 board. Or the power board

6blinks is an indication of backlight problem

Most likely this:
4X Blink error code = Balancer Error
The 4X blinking error code is used on models which have a dimming LED backlight.
If a failure happens the TV will shut down and display this diagnostic code.
Contact Consumer Electronics support for repair options.
