Some liquids spilled into my dacor pinnacle raised vent. The vent is now in the up position with the high and low buttons high lifted. I did try to reset it but not able to.

Light goes off and on by itself

I have the same problem with a DACOR ECS 130 and also set the breaker panel switch to OFF to prevent the light from turning on-off or staying on. It might help to unplug the touchpad connector behind the control panel or it may be a problem relay on a circuit board. I've had the problem for several years but will start work on it tomorrow because we do not bake often at my house.

Bill ([email protected])

P.S. I'm not an appliance tech but have had problems with the DACOR DM024 microwave( made by SHARP) and the DACOR raised vent. I think DACOR products are junk. The raised vent problem required replacing the entire circuit board!

My DACOR + ECS 130 covection oven light relay keeps clicking.....

I have the same problem and sent an e-mail to DACOR. A James Carlos responded and advised that DACOR could not provide DYI info because of liability problems, pure BS in my opinion. I've had problems with a DACOR microwave (manuf. by Sharp), my DACOR wall oven Model ECS103 and my DACOR Raised Vent system and told Mr. Carlos so. I don't know how to fix the blinking oven light other than cutting power at the circuit breaker panel or removing the two light bulbs which other have advised but suspect a new front control panel is required. If you find a fix, please advise me at [email protected]. I think DACOR products are overpriced and junk.

Thanks, Bill 12/10/2009

Our Dacor Millennia wall oven will not heat

There is a manual reset button behind the vent under the touch pad. Turn off the power. Open the door. Remove the vent. Behind the latch is a two wire switch. press the red button on it until it clicks. reassemble and turn on power. It over heated when the power went off by stopping the cooling fan.

Dacor Wall Oven won't heat - Cannot find thermal reset switch

Open the oven door and unscrew the vented panel at the top. Make sure the oven is off. Atop the electronics in there you'll see a little red button. Push it. Voila.

Oven won't heat.

EUREKA! I found the reset button and my oven is heating as we speak. Ok, open the oven door. there is a thin panel with vents right at the door latch. Unscrew the (6) screws and pull off the panel. There is a red button on the left back behind the wiring. GOOD LUCK!

Dacor ECPS130 fan won't shut off

Hi, Dacor has a Technical Manual that may help you with your problem. It has a ECS wall mount oven but does not list a ECPS. Is your listing of the model correct? Here is a link to download the Technical Manual. https://www.scribd.com/doc/14008662/Dacor-Technical-Manual
Hope it helps.

My Dacor ECD230 stopped heating???

The high limit switch has tripped on this unit. Remove the vent panel behind the door and there will be a button in there behind the wires. Press this button with the circuit breaker turned off and that will rectify the problem. You still might need a servicer out to take a look at the unit though
