Put the chair in free wheel mode and then back again and then turn the chair off then on again. Sometimes the chair will get out of gear just a littel.

Mike it depends on the charger and how discharged the batteries are. But if you get into the habit of charging it overnite when you get up in the morning it should be good to go. A 3 amp charger will take longer to charge than a 4 amp or 5 amp. Now if you are charging overnite and still don't get a full charge then you could have battery problems ie one weak battery causing the chair not to get fully charged or it could be the charger but if the charger has been doing ok in the recent past then I would have to suspect the batteries Hope this helps

Hi LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE VSI The VSI has a feature that enables you to lock your power chair to prevent unauthorized use. To lock the VSI: 1. With the VSI powered on, press and hold the on/off key. After one (1) second, the VSI should beep. 2. Release the on/off key. 3. Push the joystick to the full forward position until the VSI beeps. 4. Pull the joystick to the full rearward position until the VSI beeps. 5. Release the joystick. There should be a long beep. 6. The VSI is now locked. To unlock the VSI: 1. Sometime we lock our vsi joystick by mistake. Here are the instructions on how to lock and unlock your joystick.
