Try unplugging as suggested. Also, try different inputs (HDMI, component, etc.) and different cables to be sure it's not some external item causing problems or just one input. Also plug it into an outlet on a different circuit in your house.
If everything you try still shows the lines, it's probably the screen itself and is too expensive to fix.
