Dead battery, used jumpers. Lights work dashboard lights up. Motor will not turn over

don't crank at all ? as in silent starter motor, or just clicks>?
or cranks fast and does not start
what is management light mean.
the IP cluster 100% dead?
radio dead
headlamps dead key off and on.?
heater blower dead? on high.
tell all that works and does not, ok?

i guess you mean starter is dead, and all lights dead.

the battery is dead, did you jumper cable start it?
if that works the battery is bad, dead or only dischanged.
if that dont work make sure the battery cable lugs are cleaned.
no rust on cable ends( that green junk there that all cars get)
if the head lamps die (they work key off so...)
then the battery is dead, or rusty lugs.
if battery is dead, charge it. using a charger.

head lights must come on, or the battery is dead.!!!
the head lights work key off. so that is first check, and first to fix.

when this happens you have a dead battery, (fuses good, and tested all fuse,in engine bay.

1. the classic, jump start using jumper cables .
2. charge the battery so it reads 12.6vdc rested
3. try a known good battery in car, that works in another car.

do the dashboard lights go out when key turned to start? when you say nothing happens,is there a click? does the motor turn over,but not fire? is it an automatic,meaning is the gear inhibitor switch preventing starter from working?have you tried a jumper battery?putting a jumper lead from the battery earth to the engine ground helps sometimes,if earthing cables broken

the battery is weak ,discharged or bad, change it.
try jumper cable starts.
if that works try a charged battery now. or clean the terminals first.
if jumper cable start fails , then hot wire the starter.
using a jumper wire. (see key line link below)
if that fails the starter is bad.
if that works the key line is dead.
is caR A/T or m/t tranny?
we cant guess that. so.....
if M/T the clutch switch is bad.
if A/T the PRNLD switch is bad, try cranking in NEUTRAL ?
if input to both switches is dead, then igntion start switch is bad.

the method works on all cars , older that about 2007.
newer cars have autostart , remote start and other complex bs.

While the voltmeter reads 12 volts doesn't mean that the battery is good. Have a load test done on the battery as it may have a dead cell. Jumping a battery with a dead cell will not work as all the power from the jumper goes straight to the dead cell

Try replacing your battery as it sounds like your battery is not holding charge. When you get a boost from other car your using the other cars power to start yours. It only takes a little power to light dash lights etc but takes a LOT of power to start motor.

check your battery connection and clean any dirt to make a solid connection the car needs alot of power to start. check starter

sounds like the battery is too dead to start the motor.. Try a jumpstart or battery charger.

battery is dead. Jump it with jumper cables and another car . See if this works then have charging system checked at your local auto parts place to see if it is working correctly. This is usually a free service. Hope this helps.
