You should install service pack 2, the go to the m-audio site and upgrade the drivers again. Also, since your computer most likely have a 4 pin firewire, make sure you have the power cqble for the 410 connected. Ofcourse, do not have the 410 connected when upgrade either sp2 or the drivers. make sure you power cycle both devices before reconnecting and attempting to record....

Windows xp lan driver for pentium dual core e6600

You need to search for the LAN driver, which really has noting to do with the CPU. Google search the LAN make, model and the words XP drivers. You will have to look through the results, but should be successful in finding the drivers. Although XP has not been supported by Microsoft for a few years, the drivers are still available for the components.

On bootup win xp does not read hard drive... even a known good one. "cant find OS" even though it detects the drive is there in F2 I have even been able to format the HD. My question is .... Is...

Sounds like it might be a motherboard issue BUT the best thing to do is to put a known good working hard drive in that computer and try installing Windows from the cd. If it can't install then the motherboard is bad more then likely. You can also try swapping out memory and trying it in different slots as well. If somebody tried flashing the BIOS and the computer got shut off by accident, that can screw up a BIOS and render the computer useless.

Installation failed

Hi sunil27482, please create a folder on you're desktop & name it sound. Go to this Intel link & download driver number 3 into the sound folder.
Audio: Intel® HD Audio Controller - Realtek* Codec 4/29/2008
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2839&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Once downloaded into the sound folder uncompress the driver software by double left clicking on the .exe file. You will now see a new folder named "AUD_allOS_5605_PV_Realtek".
Now go back into device manager &
Right click once on the yellow ! point & left click once on update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Click the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find you're desktop & open the sound folder you created. Click once on the AUD_allOS_5605_PV_Realtek folder so it is high lighted. Than click OK. Windows will find the correct driver software & install it.
If you have any trouble, please list here the issue.

Good Luck!
Mike
