There is a weak capacitor on the power board. Look for a bulged or leaky cap and replace it.

Never ever try to repair these things without a anti-static wrist band...!! (below)... About $6...(very serious).

A tiny spark you might not even feel.. is the PRIMARY REASON every semiconductor box you have EVER looked at says
"No USER serviceable components inside"...

That spark can totally DESTROY almost every SEMICONDUCTOR ever made... Professional
HANDLING will always be done by ESD (electro-
static discharge) trained personnel...

Your POWER BOARD is most likely the problem...
(Red STBY is a really good sign: MOST LIKELY not your
MAIN-BOARD (but still... just an educated guess)).

put EVERY wire & fastener EXACTLY BACK...!!

Look VERY CLOSELY for a pinch clamp or catch
lever to release...

(don't forget you will need to select a SOURCE
on initial power-up).

It will most likely go away when you fix the board. I suspect there is a logic system in there looking for that port and is not finding it.

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. There are several HDTV Calibration discs available on amazon or other locations. They will walk you through calibrating all the available levels on your television. Or you can contact any number of companies that will come out and calibrate for you, however they can be quite expensive. It really depends on how hands on you want to be.

It might not be available from the service provider you use for cable, or the channel it's self.
