My Kenmore cold spot refrigerator is not cooling. My freezer gets cold to about where the ice maker is. I don't feel any air coming through the refrigerator. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Since part of it is cooling there is probably a blockage in the air return ducts. Easiest solution is to turn it off and open it up overnight. Let it totally defrost. Protect your floor in case the water drains out. Turn it back on and see if it cools. I have a freezer that needs this every 4 months or so.

SOURCE: GE Refrigerator/Freezer not cooling

Loss of coldness is common with compressor related problems....relay and overload(simple fix), loss/leak of refridgerant(need a cert. tech). need to check the compressor and see if its running....do this by pulling the unit out and removing the back panel, place your hand on the compressor and see if it feels like its running....if not probably just a relay, if it is running, could be a more serious problem dealing with sealed system.

Why is Refrigerator warm, Freezer is cold

This seems to be a common problem with bottom freezers.
Usually there is ice buildup in the cold air passage from the freezer to the refrigerator. There are videos on Youtube that will help.

Ge refrigerator is not cold enough and ice is not working

What is the model number?
The ice maker will only run if the freezer is at the correct temperature.
Do you see any ice buildup on the back wall of the freezer or behind it?

Bottom frezzer is working but fridge is not blowing cold air

Refrigerator gets cold air from freezer compartment. Either the air flow is blocked by food items or ice, or the recirculating fan is not working.

The most common failure is that the freezer coils get all iced up becuase the defroster timer, defroster thermostat, or heater has stopped working.

When it's running, you should feel cold air blowing out of the vents that are in the fridge, otherwise, the 'air tower' (air vent) is blocked with ice.

If you manually defrost the whole thing, and it runs fine for a day or so, then it's not defrosting properly. If you manually turn the defroster timer, and you don't hear the scorching/hissing/gurgling of the defroster working, then that would confirm a fault in the defroster circuits.

Based on the following thread, it's probably a bad defrost thermostat.

No cold air blowing into the refrigerator - temp too low

You have your own answer there - You have overfrosting and icing up behind the freezer, this will affect proper cooling - also if you have seperate freezer and refrigerator controls, it's possible the damper is not opening properly to let the cool air in. But in your case it sounds like a defrost problem. You will need to have a service person inspect your control board and defrost timer components - sometimes it's as simple as a board replacement due to a burnt resistor these things are the most common causes.

Good luck

Refrigerator not cooling

This could be that it is out of balance. Set the temperature settings to midway. This control can easily get the fridge temp out out of balance if over adjusted. If you already have the tmp control at midway then you need to make sure there are no obstructions to the duct that carries the cold air from the freezer to the fresh food section to cool it. Check for ice buildup or any kind of blockage. Let me know what you find.

Freezer works but refridgerator warm

you could find ice behind the back panel - worth a check. however the problem is probably ice in the return vent from fridge to freezer and the only way to cure is to switch off and leave for a day with doors open. if im right and you try this, if it re-occurs you may have a problem with the defrost system
