The tach wire for the 07 Yaris is light green at the data connector under the dash. If you have chosen to go to an injector or coil and, the system responds with low or no tach, go to the tach programming sequence again but, while programming the tach increase the rpm by putting your foot on the accelerator and holding the rpms at 1500 during programming.
Your other option is to program the system for voltage instead of tach. When programmed for voltage, also program for timed output instead of average.

I have a 1999 F250 super duty 7.3 diesel.I'm using a 2615D-TX astrostart remote starter and I have lost tach signal! What is the procedure to get the signal back?

If you have lost the tach signal on your 1999 F250 Super Duty 7.3 diesel with the Astrostart remote starter, there are a few things you can try to get the signal back:
  1. Check the wiring: Make sure all the wiring connections are secure and free from damage. If there are any loose connections or damaged wiring, it could cause the tach signal to be lost.
  2. Check the tach signal wire: Make sure the tach signal wire is connected to the correct wire on the truck's wiring harness. The tach signal wire should be connected to the green wire with a red stripe on the 7.3 diesel engine's wiring harness.
  3. Reset the remote starter: Try resetting the remote starter by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. This can sometimes help to reset the system and restore the tach signal.
  4. Check the settings on the remote starter: Make sure the settings on the remote starter are correct for your vehicle. You may need to consult the owner's manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance with this step.
  5. Consult a professional: If none of these steps work, you may need to consult a professional technician or electrician who has experience working with remote starters and tach signals on diesel engines. They will have the knowledge and tools needed to diagnose and repair the issue.

I am hooking up a remote start on a 99 Chevy Astro & can not find a tach wire.

Hey I'm not an expert at remote starts I've only hooked up one in my life I have two of them one in my Durango & one in my Dakota Dakota was installed by best buy & Durango was installed by pc richards I'm not positive but I think tach wires are the same color on all remote starts and mine are purple the tach wire on the Durango is hooked to the #3 fuel injector wires & the Dakota wire is hooked to the coil but the tach wire is purple look back at installation directions you might have a defective remote start unit remember I said I'm not an expert I'm just going. Do i have to hook up the tach wire and the activation wire and the neutral safety wire?

The activation wire is for external activation. You have remotes so, NO.
If this is an automatic transmission, you can ground the neutral safety wire or, wire the toggle switch with ground. Tach wire is only necessary with manual transmission.

What wire could I splice into on my 1996 Toyota Corolla so that my Tach can read the RPM's from?

If the tach was an option for your corolla, it is very likely that the wiring harness in your car would have the connector for the tach. They would use the same wiring harness to cut costs, and whatever is not used would be left open on a car without a tach. You will have to find a wiring diagram to check for the tach connector-it would be up under the dash leading to the cluster. In earlier days, tachs were connected to the coil's negative side of the primary circuit.

Put an rs82 bulldog remote starter in my 2005 town and country, and after 11 seconds it stops and re engages the remote starter and stops after 11 seconds and stops completely

It sounds like the RS82 is not getting a proper tach signal. If you are using tachless mode, the 12 volt constants may not be providing the desired signal. Recheck your connections to ensure that they are solid. The high amperage wires should be soldered. You will need to connect the tach wire if the connections are good. The tach wire can be connected to the negative side of the ignition coil's blue/brown wire or the blue/green wire at the PCM or you can use any one of the uncommon colored wire at a fuel injector.

Were is the tach wire on a 2001 honda crv

TACH is the blue wire found at the 2-pin tach test connector on the drivers side of the firewall.
If doing a remote start install, you can also use the wire from any fuel injector (all the fuel injectors have one wire which is the same color. Use the OTHER wire on any one injector).

2002 jeep grand cherokee with valet remote start. when remote start is activated jeep starts then shuts off immediatly

Apart from the inginition wires ( you must check if there are 12 volts), the alarm needs to read the tach reading properly from the car to stay running. If the tach rate is not learned by the system, it will cut out almost immediately. You need to ensure that this tach wire is connected to the tach under the hood. When this has been connected, you need to ensure that the alarm learns the rate. This can be done automatically on some models or manually on others. Ensure that the appropariate wire is connected to your tach wire; it should work properly after that
