JVC TV LT-32G80BU can't navigate in menu + all channels messed up

After a vacation where the power was off, I come home and all the channels on my TV is messed up, they're all shuffled from 1 to 80 (got 30).
When I enter the Menu, I can't do anything, when I hit the down button it just goes down one channel. The EXT5-HDMI is not showing anymore either. It's only 3 years old, how do I reset it? or get it back to normal. I tried do another power off for 10min, but still the same.

Please help. thanks.
/Morten

TV seems to reset it's settings for some reason (it happened to me with similar TV - LT-32A80SU). I have found the way to solve this situation - service menu.

Press button "i" and "mute" on remote at the same time - service menu should appear. Now press 8 and there should be menu that allows to change few advanced features. Pressing down and up arrows allows to navigate, pressing right and left arrows changes values. You have to change "dual HDMI" to YES (this will enable second HDMI port) and change "remocon" to other option available (this will change how the remote behaves). Save settings by pressing OK button. Now you can leave service menu by pressing "i" button twice. You should now be able to use your TV like before.

Remember - these are instructions for my TV and they worked for me but playing with service menu can be dangerous so you're doing it at your own risk. Ask JVS support if you're not sure what to do.

I have jvc tv model LT-24C660, I turn on tv massage come “no channels added yet. Please go to the installation menu to add channels.” How can I go to installation menu?

Do you have cable or satellite? Satellite uses only one station and all you have to do is select the station your satellite provider told you to use. If it is cable then go to your menu screen and look for "setup." That should get you going.

XCAN'T FIND THE BUTTON TO RUN CHANNEL AUTO SCAN

First make sure that the Source is set to TV and a good antenna/coaxial cable is connected to the TV. Use the Input button on the TV (to the left of the power button) or the Input Select button on the remote. Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through the source list and press Enter to select that choice. (On the TV, the Input button is the Enter button.) Next press the Setup/TV Menu on the remote (or Menu on the right arrow button or Enter. Then go down to Auto Ch Memory and press the right arrow or Enter. With the up/down arrows, navigate to Signal Type and set that to Air (for OTA channels) or Cable with the left/right arrows. Now navigate to Automatic Search and press the right arrow or Enter. Wait for the scan to be completed.

I hope this helps. The steps are shown in the manual for the LT-19D610 on page 18. The manual is available from JVC on the product page: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?modelId=MODL028825 . The direct link to the manual is http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/01/47/J55D0221B.pdf .

I have a JVC LT 26X575 that will not accept remote input for any function, but using the buttons on the TV allow the menu to be achieved and the sound to be raised or lowered. In TV mode it comes on on...

sounds like the remote batteries could be bad or the buttons on the remote need to be cleaned. some JVC TV remotes, I'm not familiar with this particular one though, can be cleaned using a clean pencil eraser. Be careful opening the remote because some parts can fall out or you can damage the connections to the LED emitter that sends the signal to the TV. Also the solder connections on that LED could be bad.

Hi mfaille
I`m going to help you with your setup but first;
Which connection are you using from the sat receiver to the tv?
Coax / standard rg6 cable?
Did you try to manually add(in the menu/tuner setup/find channel/add) the channel you need ?

After power outage, TV screen is blank

It sounds funny but, unplug the set for 30 seconds to allow the TV to reset then see if the problem still is there.
