do you mean it keeps trying to build pressure even when you release the trigger on your wand???that is a problem with your unloader....also checkout your shutter valve and replace the oring on it. You will need the diagram here to know what parts Im talking about Pump Breakdowns and you can order parts here Pressure washer parts catalog quick links Pressure Washers High Pressure...
Very little info to go on here. Could be a valve issue or a packing issue or an unloader issue. If it has been sitting for any length of time which tends to be the case, then an unloader valve is most likely the culprit. Good luck
Find an all thread bolt that is about 3" long that will screw into the pump shaft. You will need a nut and a washer that fits the bolt. Put the nut and washer on the bolt,Set the pulley on the shaft and screw the bolt in the shaft as far as it will go hand tight, but at least 5 or 6 revolutions. you willneed two wrenches , one to hold the bolt and one to turn the nut. The pulley must be flush with the shaft when you are done
It sounds like the (RMW 2.2 G24) pump has gone out. Mine had this problem after about 6 hours of use. I was able to order a new pump for around $160.00, and then installed it myself. Go figure it was just out of warranty. I think my next pressure washer will be one with a professional pump as I was told the one on my husky is only rated for about 40 hours of use.
