It must be an aria twin 40/60 stroller and a peg capsule. The connection pieces are under the wider seat cushioning and they pull up and cushioning pushes back down with connection piece sticking up through gap either side of cushioning. The capsule will push easily on to pram seat and you will hear it lock when positioned correctly. You must use wider seat side.

Yes, it can be removed. Where the canopy attaches to the stroller you will see a clip like devise. Push the buttons down and slide the hood up the frame at teh same time. it should slide right off.
