Hi You may need to pull strainer out and clean basket better, check interior aspects of strainer housing to see if build up of any kind is blocking sensor contacts of strainer.

Testimonial: "the strainer is new the sensor contact is working fine with strainer its just not reading through the pcb"

My washer does not fully drain when it is done. The only way that I can get the water to drain is to go to the 2nd rinse cycle and press spin and drain only. I constantly get readings of F21 also.

There is a strainer on the drain pump that is clogged. The manual does not mention this at all, it merely states the drain hose is kinked or clogged.

Under the front door there is a panel that is the width of the machine and is held in place by two screws, one on either side.

When you remove that you will see the pump and the the strainer attached to it. Unscrew the strainer (put a small pan under it to catch excess water) and remove to remove the junk accumulated.

Also, attached to the panel is another manual that refers to the error codes you are seeing.

Terrible smell coming from our washing machine

remove bottom cover at back of machine, loosen large jubilee clip on hose between drum and pump. pull hose down and off, take out strainer basket and pull top off, clean top, ball and basket by running under tap. clean out hose with an old rag. reassemble strainer and put back into hose, in the correct position. fix hose back on to drum and tighten clip. run machine on a hot wash and all should be fine.

F02 with good pump and clear filter... now what?

"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions.

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385844-checking_drain_pump_kenmore_elite_front

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump

Hobart LXiH preesure gauge is to low - 7 PSI

Todd - A pressure regulator will REDUCE pressure only. There is no back pressure - the machine's gauge is reading the incoming water pressure as it fills/rinses. Assuming the gauge is OK, the machine is only seeing 7 psi. There is an inline strainer in teh machine, check that for blockage. You said the machine was operating on 45 psi with a reading of only 12 psi. There may be some kind of pressure reducer - I have seen Hobart use special supply hoses with builtin orifices.

hope this helps, if not email me, i service commercial machines and came across your question as I was looking for help myself!

Horbart dishwaser wont dran

Its a hobart correct? The data plate is on the bottom right front or on the door when opened on the left.If you dont see it then its been removed.Regardless does the display show a wash then rinse cycle? If so and it doesnt drain you either have a clogged drain hose or the drain valve is bad or stuck. If you use this just to wash glasses your model is probably a lxigc. If glasses are broken in the dishwasher which they probably are the glass has gotten into the drain body and is obstructing the valve from opening and closing.I work for hobart and services dishwashers alot.let me know.
