Presto elelment no longer working can this be fixed

Probably not. Those elements are like light bulb filaments. When they burn out, you replace them. You could likely find the part online and put it in yourself.

Need replacement quartz tube <17" for my Presto

If Presto longer manufacturers or stocks parts for your heater, there may be a good reason for it. Other than they now have a better heater. My best advice is to scarp the heater and purchase a new one, Your model may have had a safety issue.

Your help please -filaments do not light. Unit is plugged in, but no radiation as you turn from low to high

if unit will not heat at all check continuity of heating element. if that checks good with ohm meter, check power switch.

When i turn on my heater after a few minutes it will make a long buzzing sound

1. Check for loose connections at the heater coil terminals area. If everything's alright, one of your heating
elements is about to give up, and it may need to be replaced.
2. You may also check the other components, since you will be opening the HeatDish Compact Heater.
Hope this will help you.

Presto Heat Dish w/footlight

This heater must be flat on the floor or it will buzz, and the metal dish must be clean or it will transfer heat to the safety device. If this does not solve the problem call customer service at 800-877-0441.
