I want to get my BCM repaired. I found a company called elseea in NY that claims to do this. Are they a legitimate company? Update: Elseea is a real company.

So I sent my BCM to elseea and they said they repaired a resistor in it and sent it back. It didn't fix the problem so I was at the end of my chain and brought my truck to the dealer for them to check it out. After looking over the truck for two days they said the BCM was bad. Elseea said they repaired it and checked it before they sent it back so why did it come back broke. They claim it must have been an intermittent failure they didn't see. Due to my truck not intermittently failing but consistently failing I would say they either didn't fix squat or they didn't test it. I'm not sure of the quality they do but just know what they did from my experience. On a good note, There company did refund me for the charges without any fighting. At least they did that right.

Just a quick clarification. So Elseea is a legitimate company to your knowledge? I just don't want to get caught up in a scam. Thanks.

A removal van bumped my car in a parking lot The owner told the driver to leave and gave information. agreed they would claim their insurance This happened in April and we need the car fixed Now what

Always call your insurance company when you get hit. You need the owners insurance company and policy number. If they refuse to provide tbis info, report the accident to police and provide the licence plate number of the van.

WHERE IS THE BCM FOR A 2005 Mustang V6 LOCATED AT?

Under the dash. Find the fuse panel, you found the BCM. Called GEM on Ford's. If the fuses are on the side of the dash, you still have to pull it from the bottom. Some of these are year specific and they do have to be programmed to the car.

Can A BCM Body control module for a Saturn Vue be reprogrammed for another car?

It can be done if you have the proper equipment, the correct software to install and the knowledge. Its really not needed most of the time many companies sell remaned BCM.s or will fix yours if they don't have one in stock. Check out Cardone:

Why does my 206 only start up when i tap the accelerator

take it back to repair shop. If they cannot fix the problem then ask them for their insurance company name and number so you can make a claim and have it repaired at another shop like an authorized service center for your make and model.

When you ask for their insurance company info they usually wake up and get it right. No one wants any insurance claims against their policy.

Not sure what country you are in. So that is a US recommendation.

Call up the company to reset your password. They will give you a temporary password that can only be used once. Make sure you have the policy number and email address when you call.

Side doors switch wont work / passager window wont open.

These power accessories are controlled by a computer module commonly called the body control module (BCM for short), the BCM has the ability to self diagnose, you need the Ford dealer to scan the BCM and make the BCM run an active self test, then the BCM will deliver back fault codes for what it Found wrong in the system while doing the active function self test. Guessing is really not an option here, parts are to expensive to just randomly replace in hopes of fixing the problem.

2003 Saturn L300 Air Conditioner Does Not Blow Cold Air

I worked at saturn dealer for 18yrs.Those auto hvac heads are a weak link on the L-Series.But I have to say the BCM's are totally junk!! But if it was me I would go with the BCM because you can get a used HVAC head from junk yard but the BCM has to be new because it has to be flashed. If It was me I would try to get a used hvac control from salvage yard. Also yo might want to get a 2nd opinion because those L-Series cars are all bad for Compressor concerns.Hope this helps

Bmw x5

I dug a little deeper and found that the company had no legal registration (the missus is a lawyer!!). I also found that a good way to see if an escrow company is legitimate you can copy and paste chunks of text from its webpage into Google. This nearly always brings up exact matches with several other companies which is very suspicious!! I even found that photos and testimonials turned up on several different sites... In fact go to www.logistica-transporte.com (the company my "seller" suggested) and try it, it's quite scary to see just how many fake companies these scam artists have set up over the years.
