Hi we have an energy knight ac wall unit . Can't operate it since the remote control is broken the model number is 6711A20026U would you have any suggestions?

I would repair the remote. Remotes can be very easy to resolve issues with as long as they are not physically damaged(dog chewing on them etc). Otherwise your best bet is calling the company for a new one or trying a multibrand remote for ac units like the Tado Smart thermostat.

Got a 55 inch smart tv for a gift and dog chewed up remote. How can i get it to play movies on 1080p ? And how can i check to see if its 4k or just standard smart tv?

To play 1080p movie, just do it. No further move needed, cuz most smart TVs have no problem in playing back 1080p full hd videos. As for 4k Ultra hd video, you'd better downscale it to 1080p if you're not sure about your tv resolution.

I need to buy a replacement remote. Our dog chewed up our remote and I can't find a replacement for it.

How come dogs chew our things instead of their toys? As the first answer suggests search the manufacturer's website. If its an old remote then try Ebay. Sometimes a local pawn shop has a box of remotes that you can look through. In the meantime you can always buy a generic universal remote that you can program to work with your TV.

Remote Control Menu

acquire universal remote.
acquire exact replacement from mfg if avail.

no alternative if your remote is destroyed.
based on your need to access menus with it.

then hope your dog develops a taste for something else.

to that, my dogs chew bully sticks. it satisfies their need to chew. which is a really big drive. and they cost a bit, but last a long time.
and its cheaper than replacing remotes and furniture, shoes and other things.
and your dog will be extremely happy.
costc has started carrying them.
most pet stores carry them.
they are also known as pizzle.
you really don't want to know more about them.
they will keep your dog happy when otherwise bored.

good luck
have a happy dog.
