Open itunes, connect your Ipod to the computer with the USB cord, a message will come up saying "iTunes could not connect to the ipod because it is disabled/locked with a passcode". press cancel. Unplug your ipod from the USB cord. Now shut down the ipod, hold in the home button at the bottom and connect the USB cable back up, keep holding the home button down and you will see a picture of a USB cable and iTunes on your ipod screen. iTunes will say it has detected an ipod in recovery mode and would you like to restore it to factory settings? Click restore and sit back for a few minutes until it restores everything to factory settings. Your ipod will reboot and iTunes will detect it. You can then go into the ipod and install a new pass code if you wish to. Hope this helps, Rob
<p>Music you download from the iTunes Music Store album art,
and an iPod Touch, this work of art as the music plays. Numbers that you have
your iTunes library from CDs or files on your computer does not contain
pictures, but you can find the right images using iTunes and synchronize the
work with the iPod Touch. <br />

<p>To download artwork from iTunes <br />
<p>1. Open iTunes on your computer. <br />
<p><br />
<p>2. Mark all the songs you want to download the album cover,
click the radio button and click "Get Album Artwork." iTunes will try
to adapt each with a selected song from the iTunes Music Store and download the
correct album art. <br />

to update your ipod touch second gen to 4.1 version you must connect to your itunes account on your computer with ipod attatched sync all apps, music, videos, everything because it will delete everything and needs everything backed up. then go to your ipod on itunes and it will say update, click it it will take around half an hour to update and restore you ipod fully. This worked for my ipod touch gen 2, it kept saying when i tried to update i still have things on my ipod not synced to itunes when i have synced multiple times but it updated ok and i do not notice anything missing. this is all i know about this i hope it helps.
1.Make sure iPod is completely powered off. 2.Hold the home button while its off. 3.While holding the Home button, connect the cable. The iPod should power on. 4.Keep holding the Home button. 5.The Connect to iTunes image should come up. 6. You are now in Recovery Mode 7. Download RecBoot to exit recovery http://www.the0rkus.me/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=1
Dear sammystevo,
I think it means that you have to plug your iPod in to your pc/Mac and connect it to iTunes: wich can be downloaded here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If this is not the case then do the following:
Press the power (on top) and home/springboard button (center, bottom) together untill the Apple logo pops up. When it pops up, just release, and wait for a few minutes/seconds.
Problem wasn't solved with n° 1? Well there is a second way, but i got to warn you it may cause your iPod to delete all music and photos etc. Just plug your ipod in to iTunes and click on your iPod on the left and, press repair.
download the latest version of itunes . after the installation of itunes connect your ipod touch using the usb dongle that comes with it. itunes will try to sync on your ipod touch. now click on itunes store then login using your existing account. if you still dont have an account you need to create one first.
once logged in on itunes store you can now select any apps that you want to download on your ipod touch (free/non free)
on your ipod touch you can also click on the app store icon and download. just make sure you that you are connected to the internet.
If it was locked and you donot know the password then the only thing you can do is restore it using dfu mode hold both power and home button until it turns off and restart and show you to connect to iTunes. Then restore it. Let me know what happened
Itunes can sync infinite ipods and should have no trouble, so there isnt a problem with having two ipods. Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into
itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol
appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore
mode". this will get rid of any previous users' settings, and hopefully fix anything preventing itunes from syncing with your ipod.
get on your laptop download itunes if you don't already have it... then connect your ipod touch to the usb port. After that itunes will come up... just follow the instructions... once all that is done... disconnect your ipod and start adding music to your itunes then connect your ipod touch again to load your music into your ipod.
